9. Types of key that can be cut – The Miracle A5 can cut laser-cut and edge cut vehicle keys. It can also cut cruciform keys such as are used by Citroen and other French makes. Additional clamps enable the Miracle A5 to cut both Ford and Jaguar Tibbe and even FO19 cylinder keys such are used by London taxis and LDV commercial. 6mm shank cutters with 2mm and 1.5mm diameter are available. This clamp (Tibbe clamp) is not yet available in Australia.
10. The importance of the 3 axis machine – The effect of this is that the Miracle A5 senses key thickness before making any cut. That is an automatic process which compensates for the fact that all keys are not of equal thickness and many keys may not be of the same thickness as original OEM keys. In that way the correct depth of cut is assured and cutter breakage avoided. No manual thickness adjustment is required.
11. Cutting speeds – The Miracle A5 offers a choice of fast cutting for brass keys or cutting at a reduced speed for steel and nickel steel blanks.
