Women’s Survivor Healing Circle T

Stephanie Gagos

he Women’s Survivor Healing Circle is back in Nyack. The Monday night group will meet from 7:30 to 9 p.m. starting October 10 and running through November 21. Facilitated by survivor and Life Coach, Stephanie Gagos, the Survivor Healing Circle is a group for women who have ex-

perienced childhood abuse. It is ideal for women looking to enhance the work they are already doing in therapy and add to their healing toolbox. Gagos says, “The power of groups is undeniable. To be seen and heard in the presence of oth- ers, especially around a topic that brings so much shame, is powerful and healing. Women need spaces to heal and come back to the truth of who they are underneath their story.” This six week group covers topics such as body aware-

ness, inner child explorations, relaxation techniques, anger release work, trust, and boundaries.

All participants must commit to attending all six weeks.

“The group will start back up in January and run in cycles of six weeks for those interested in continued ongoing long- term support,” adds Gagos.

Meets at 42 Main St. 2nd floor, Nyack. Must pre-register by contacting Stephanie Gagos at 914-419-8323. A brief 15-minute telephone intake is required. Space limited. Visit MyVoiceOfTruthCoaching.com. See Community Resource Guide listing, page 45.

Plecko is now offering workshops the first Monday of each month to introduce participants to the basic alignment principles, powerful sequences of strengthening and restorative yoga postures, relaxation techniques, hands on healing and wealth of information that helped to heal her and many of her stu- dents’ chronic back, neck and shoulder pain. She welcomes all levels. Students with serious back con- ditions need to contact her before the workshops.
