CATTLE RAISERS COMMUNITY

MEMBER NOTES

Plenty of Opportunities to Enjoy Cattle Raisers Fellowship

By Claudia Wright, TSCRA Association Promotion chair

S

TOCK SHOW SEASON IS UNDERWAY ONCE AGAIN! MORE THAN 1,000 TSCRA members took advantage of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Season Pass program this year. Special

thanks go to Brad Barnes and the entire Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo staff for helping make this unique Texas and South- western Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) member benefi t a great success. By the time you read this we will have had our annual Fort

Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Ranching Heritage Dinner, host- ing hundreds of TSCRA members for an evening of dinner and ranch rodeo. This is always a fun weekend; a great opportunity to connect with TSCRA members in a casual, relaxed setting. If you missed the Ranching Heritage Weekend and want to

spend a weekend with a few thousand of your fellow ranchers, please plan to attend the 2015 Cattle Raisers Convention and Expo, March 27 to 29 in Fort Worth. The lineup of speakers, activities, and entertainment is simply unmatched. If you have never attended a Cattle Raisers Convention, I would

like to personally invite you to attend this year’s convention. I promise you will not be disappointed. More information is avail- able at www.tscra.org/convention. Finally, I would also like to invite you to attend the Chisholm

Trail Ranch Rodeo, hosted by TSCRA, Feb. 13 and 14, in Duncan, OK. With 24 ranch teams, the ranch rodeo will provide outstanding family entertainment, all in support of TSCRA Youth Programs. More information on the ranch rodeos is available at www.tscra. org/ranchrodeo.
