At Ponte Giulio, we take our environmental duties very seriously, striving to have a positive impact on the environment and the community. Our grab rails are produced using recycled
materials so, at the end of a product’s lifecycle, it can be recycled again. Sometimes, we recycle the whole bar, other times we reuse the body and add a new vinyl coating. The vinyl we use is free of environmentally dangerous stabilisers, colourings and heavy metals, such as mercury, lead and cadmium. We pride ourselves on being an environmentally
friendly company, caring about environmental protection throughout the whole manufacturing process. We have a very detailed waste separation system in operation and exclude manufacturing residuals to EU 2002/96/CE guidelines. Safe bonding with Mapei’s versatile eco adhesive range
Mapei’s Ultrabond Eco Adhesives range includes six solutions which provide uncompromised performance combined with health and eco benefits. The solvent-free formulas are water-based, non-flammable and have ultra-low VOC emissions. They are non-staining and suitable for high traffic environments and application with underfloor heating. This range includes Eco 170 for carpets and Eco
380 for PVC which form a high initial bond and acrylic-based Eco 520 for linoleum. Eco Tack is designed for carpet tile application and retains a tacky film for easy removal and replacement. High temperature acrylic Eco VS90 bonds vinyl sheet and tile, PVC-backed carpet, rubber sheet and tiles; while Eco Fix provides temporary fixing of PVC, vinyl, carpet and underlay.
Ultrabond Eco 4 LVT is a high temperature, fibre-
reinforced adhesive for bonding of internal LVT and PVC floors and semi-flexible vinyl tiles. Its smooth formulation promotes fast, safe application on a variety of substrates, providing a high initial bond for rapid flooring fixing.
