ROBERT MIROLO: The thing that makes Ireland great, for me, is something unmeasurable, just as it is something that is often indescribable and invisible. The justification for Ireland in these dark times is its spirit. In these photos I have tried to illustrate, in some essence, the playfulness, the humour and the unique intellect of the Irish people.


CASSIE WRIGHT: I have grown up in Sligo for the best part of my life; I have surfed and enjoyed the lifestyle of living by the sea. It is something that will always bring me back to Ireland. I wanted to share this experience with others. I tried to capture a sense of surfing in Ireland. The shots are mostly abstract and in a documentary style to give the viewer the sense of surfing and being underwater.
