AIM: To link the general public with university research and bridge science and the arts


GOING GLOBAL: The Science Gallery concept is to be rolled out to eight cities worldwide by 2020. London will be the first international location and the Global Science Gallery Network is currently in discussions to set up hubs in New York, Bangalore and Melbourne


UPCOMING EXHIBITIONS: Fail – 07.02.14–27.04.14 – ‘An opportunity to discover a multiplicity of new perspectives on failure from designers, investors and scientists’; Fat Lab – 16.05.14–29.06.14 – ‘Offering visitors an opportunity to take part in real research experiments... It will look at the causes, treatments and behavioural interventions around obesity’; Strange Weather – 18.07.1–05.10.14 – ‘Asking challenging questions about climate change and how we will sustain our planet and its energy demands into the future, this exhibition will bring together a collection of works which question our behaviour and offer radical proposals for the future’; Blood – 24.10.14–25.01.15 – This exhibition ‘will explore the mythical, cultural and medical aspects of this unique connective tissue’
