32 INNOVATION IRELAND REVIEW Issue 7 Autumn/Winter 2013
‘Galway and the region in general have a good supply of serviced greenfield, industrial buildings and commercial office space available for lease and/or purchase’
serviced greenfield industrial buildings and commercial office space available for lease and/or purchase. IDA’s strategic site at Oranmore, Co Galway is a 27-hectare (67-acre) serviced site located close to the M6 Galway to Dublin motorway. Parkmore Business & Technology Park is a 38-hectare (94-acre) park also situated close to M6 motorway. Aside from its logistical advantages, Galway is a very
attractive, multicultural city that is widely considered to be Ireland’s cultural capital, with numerous arts festivals and events held throughout the year. The historical city centre is a maze of cobbled streets with colourful shop fronts and a busy cafe/bar scene. Right on the coast, Galway is flanked by a long, winding promenade and is within minutes of beautiful sandy beaches and the striking landscape of Connemara.
