SMS INC. research shows that cart bags are beginning to tip the balance over carry bags in terms of European demand

uropean consumer research carried out by SPORTS MARKETING SURVEYS INC. in 2012 shows that
85% of core golfers across the major markets own a golf trolley, therefore it is not surprising that more golfers use cart bags than they do carry bags in the UK, France and Scandinavia. Bucking the trend are German golfers, who remain marginally more likely to own a carry bag.
Bearing in mind the enduring popularity
of carry bags in Germany, it is perhaps surprising that German golfers surveyed by SMS INC. intend to spend more on their next golf bag purchase than golfers in the other major European markets. German golfers might average €168 on their next bag purchase, which is a considerable hike of €30 more than the predicted average price paid for a golf bag in the UK.
THREE AND OUT SMS INC. research across all four European markets of the UK, France, Germany and Scandinavia in 2012 shows that the average length of time for which core golfers expect to use a golf bag is three years. European markets.
