Masters Golf takes on Golfsmith Europe

asters Golf has been appointed sole distributor for Golfsmith


International in the UK and Europe, an agreement that includes all existing distribution agreements held by Golfsmith in Europe, including club- fi tting components and brands such as Snake Eyes, Ogio, Greg Norman Clothing, Maggie Lane and Tour Trek. Doug Poole, the long-standing


managing director of Golfsmith Europe and former chairman of the British Golf Industry Association, has left the company to go into consultancy, and SGB Golf understands that many of those employed by Golfsmith Europe under Poole have also left the company. SGB Golf also understands that Golfsmith Europe’s distribution operation in St. Ives, Cambridgeshire is being merged into the Masters Golf facility in Bristol.
