Flyzone DHC-2 Beaver


In this series of pictures (above left, center, and right, below left) you see various struts attached to the float plates. Either a label or an embossed code at the end of the strut shows which hole it goes in. All the float ends of the struts use


a “2” to identify them. Some pins were inserted (below center) into the rudder tiller and fuselage to hold it steady while the water rudders are set up. If it’s flown from land, here’s the setup for the interchangeable tail wheel (below right).


The real Beaver on floats required vertical stabilizers at the end of the horizontal stabilizer so the Flyzone model has them also (above left). Some of

the trim may need to be cut between elevator and stab. The plates easily screw into the ends of the stab (above right) and it’s important the heads are flush.
