Sunday morning started as a much better day with a beautiful sunrise. A few low hanging clouds dissipated while the partici- pants enjoyed a pancake and egg breakfast, and many more flights were had throughout the day. 77 pilots and over 100 aircraft par- ticipated this year. While most of the en- trants are from Michigan, there are also a number of pilots who travel from Ohio, Wis-

consin, Indiana, Illinois, and Ontario, Cana- da, and in years past, attendees from many other states as well.
This event continues to attract a wide range of aircraft, from kits and scratch- builds to ARFs. There are many planes available today made for floats/water flying, and many more that can be easily adapted to floats.
Many of today’s trainers make an excel- lent conversion to floats. This year we saw a collection of Sig Kadet LT-40s and Kadet Seniors, Carl Goldberg Eagle IIs, and Hobbi- co’s Avistar among others.
