The second half of Part 3 discusses enterprise performance management where the main theme centres the balanced scorecard method. This method takes into account the financial, customer, internal and people / innovation perspective when reporting on strategic performance. Each of these perspectives is interpreted using the components of objectives, measures, targets and initiatives.

For additional, practical conversation points, Hough has included 9 articles and 10 case studies relating to Crafting and Executing Strategy. Hough’s, et al, book gives an excellent


grounding in the strategy topic. It provides the advanced business student and aware reader with a practical process approach to actually executing strategy.
