VENUE: CHELSEA OLD TOWN HALL
Executive PA Magazine readers were warmly welcomed at the reader event held at the Chelsea Old Town Hall on the 2nd September. The event was hosted by the Royal Borough
of Kensington and Chelsea, who had worked hard to ensure a great occasion for readers. Executive PA Magazine guests were greeted in the Main Hall, with catering laid on by one of the venue’s regular suppliers. Wine was served along with a selection of canapés – though it was the incredible range of cakes and patisserie that had been created especially for this event that readers were most excited to sample. The Town Hall is actually one of two ven- ues run by the council – the other being Kensington Town Hall, a much more contem- porary building which lends itself to confer- ences and exhibitions. Chelsea Old Town Hall is used a lot for award ceremonies, weddings, parties and dinners and you can certainly see the appeal. Located in the middle of the King’s Road, the magnificent late Victorian building has been lovingly restored to its former glory –
(Aug/Sept) we invited readers
to experience a wealth of venues as ideal for meetings, private dinners, conferences and

providing a beautiful, memorable and photo- genic backdrop for almost any kind of event. Guests also had the opportunity to explore the spaces available for themselves and take in the history and heritage found within the building and the stylish interiors. The Chelsea Old Town Hall would certainly make for a memorable setting for your next event – after all it’s forever associated in people’s memories with the stream of celebrities who took their marriage vows at the iconic Chelsea Register Office, housed within the building. Alfresco event in Tunbridge Wells VENUE: HOTEL DU VIN TUNBRIDGE WELLS
Executive PA Magazine readers enjoyed fan- tastic attention to detail at this special alfresco event on September 3. The Hotel du Vin Tunbridge Wells is locat-
ed just five minutes from the train station and getting here from London is quick and easy – trains from Cannon Street and Charing Cross will be pulling into the local station in just 50 minutes. Its proximity to London meant our guests could already start to wind down from their day on the train journey in anticipation of the treats being set out back at the Hotel. The Hotel du Vin brand has a sister brand –
Malmaison and for this occasion event staff from various Malmaison properties were in attendance to meet Executive PA Magazine readers and to help showcase this fantastic Tunbridge Wells hotel. Most of the evening

took place in the lower garden which backs on to a beautiful vineyard. The Hotel's wine wait- er was on hand to serve PAs glasses of wine to go with the sumptuous cheeseboard laid out a few metres further into the garden. As the warm September evening went on, the superb jazz quartet played us into dusk by candlelight and, for those inclined, there were fine cigars and ice cream to round off the evening. Ten lucky readers also got to stay the night here and try out the accommodation and even sample a leisurely Saturday breakfast. There are a lot of great events laid on for
Executive PA Magazine readers but when ven- ues put as much thought and effort in as Hotel du Vin did, it's what makes them really special. Add to this the highly professional yet extreme- ly friendly staff and you cannot go wrong. Further information:
