Two years ago, I walked into a meeting I learned about from a mailed postcard. It wasn’t long before I found myself talking with a small group of business owners. It was fun to find out how they’d gotten into business. We shared ideas with each other about getting new clients. We also talked about our personal lives, and some of our favorite hobbies.


Two years later, at least two of the people I talked to that night have become regular clients. In one case, my working relationship with a gentleman who owns an advertising agency is responsible for thousands of dollars of my income. When I think back on that meeting two years ago, I consider it one of the best things I have done for my business.
