Interested participants can also join other designers, for a panel discussion about the benefits of using social networking to promote their business. Well-known designers, Cherish Flieder and Claudine Hellmuth, join media savvy manufacturer, iLove to Create, and publishers, Quayside Publishing Group and Crafts’n Things magazine, to discuss how designers and EPMs, can work together to use new media to their best advantage. The new, Designer Roundtable Discussions, will also offer a casual setting to brainstorm with other members on topics including Color Theory, Book Proposals, Professional Demonstrating, and more.
Hands-On Craft Technique Training Workshops In this Summer’s workshop program, you can learn to use new products, or enhance your skills on products that you already carry; all the while being taught by leading industry professionals. This is personalized training, that you can take back to your store or customers! Choose from over 35 classes in craft categories, including Papercrafting, Jewelry making, General Crafts, among others. These CHA buyer-member-only workshops are just $25 each, when participants pre-register.
Networking Events Taste of Rosemont, Monday, 7/26 - This complimentary Reception, for all show attendees, features samples of the area’s favorite dishes! Say hello to old friends, network, and relax.
Member Networking Event, Wednesday 7/28 – CHA Members can gather at the end of the day to recharge, by relaxing with old friends and making new connections. You never know where your next big idea will come from! Bring plenty of business cards and enjoy.
