scribbles & giggles- mover & shaker
In the process, I have discovered scrapbookers are some of the nicest people one will ever meet. They are reflective, insightful, and entertaining to be around. They are good friends and kind souls. It doesn’t matter what precious memory or event you choose to scrapbook, it is a labor of love.
Scrapbooking has exploded into a world wide industry. I have had the pleasure of meeting many inspiring, industry moguls, including the “Swamp Monster”. I have been blessed to have Lance Anderson (Mr. Rusty Pickle), and Jen Starr, come to our store and teach their awesome classes. Our little town was starved for a facility to provide the latest in scrapbook supplies. I am able to offer a large classroom, with a great selection of classes and membership benefits. The ladies that frequent the store are ecstatic with the selection we are able to offer. (Our store has 3200 square feet of retail space).
I am so fortunate to be surrounded with the greatest circle
of support from the Giggle Girls. We didn’t all know each other to begin with, but we have all become great friends. Carrie, Eliza, Pam and
Tammi......not a single one can I do without, not to mention the great instructors I have onboard as well. Each of my talented team brings her own unique set of skills and perspective to the table. We as a team present a kaleidoscope of ideas and classes. We learn and grow as a group, together, so we can share the knowledge and inspiration with our customers and friends.
The last year has been a tornado whirlwind of many
adventures to scrapbook about. I have learned more than I ever imagined, with so much more to learn every day. It’s a lot of hard work, but the rewards are priceless, in the faces of my returning customers, who are becoming great friends.
Even though this has been a bit of a roller coaster ride, I have no regrets leaving an industry I loved so much, to enter into a world of creativity and passion. Don’t be scared to embark on new challenges and adventures, because that’s what makes us stronger and who we become.
Scribbles & Giggles is more than just a scrapbooking store;
we also offer a selection of gifts that are sure to please everyone in the family. We offer classes for all ages; crops, retreats, themed Scrap’n Yap’s, and we are also available for private functions. We are located along the Trans Canada highway, which runs through the town of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada. We would love for you to stop by and hear about your scrapbooking Adventures in the town where Adventure begins.
