short and longer runs. The new H6 offers the highest rigidity with stable box ways and a gear-driven 47-hp (35- kW), 8000 or 15000- rpm, 50-taper spindle for stable, powerful,

high-torque cutting. A twin drive system for the X and Y axes ensures precise and faster cutting rates. Axis strokes are 1050 × 900 × 1000 mm with a B-axis rotation of 360°. Table working surface is 630 × 630 mm and load capacity is 1600 kg. With 41" (1041 mm) of swing inside the machine, 80 mm pallets can be employed. The machine has a 40-tool maga- zine standard with optional 60, 90, 120 or 150-tool magazine capacities.

Radio Wave Line of Probes

Radio-wave versions of an extensive line of part probes, tool probes, and bore gages are intended for applications where normal “line-of-sight” infrared transmission is not possible such as on fi ve-axis machines, large gantry machines, or in deep cavities. The new line uses a simple “push button” to pair the device with the machine and allows up to six probes on one machine. Patent pending BRC radio technology transmits a signal over a wide range within a 2.4-Ghz bandwidth instead of using a par- ticular frequency. This eliminates interference from frequencies that

may appear within the transmission band, keeping the probe in constant communication with the machine. FormControl Software, when coupled with a TC-Series radio probe, pro- vides a complete solution for inspection of problematic parts. Blum-Novotest Inc. modular system provides fast, accurate lathe tooling change- overs with a single base holder and multiple tooling adapters that utilize the ER collet pock- et. The Deco-Flex features a conical and fl at face planar interface that guarantees the best possible concentricity and repeatability for precise machining, as well as specifi c adapters that combine with fi xed and/or rotary toolholders to optimize tool performance and increase fl exibility. The Compacto C3, C4 and C5 connection base holder system enhances effi ciency and productivity, provid- ing more space for machining in tight workspaces as well as offers improved torque transmission and rigidity for increased tool accuracy. The Polygon Shape Connection (PSC) further adds to the system’s high precision and stability. EXSYS Tool Inc. Ph: 800-397-9748 Web site: www.exsys-tool.com
