Three-Axis Measurement IM Series Instant Measurement system is a three-axis contact height measurement unit. It can complete 99 dimensional measurements, automatically record data, and generate inspection reports in seconds. The pattern search function can be used to automatically recognize and measure the height measurement points specifi ed in advance. This function greatly reduces the time spent performing tasks related to measurement, such as using multiple measurement instruments, creating oper-

ating procedures, and operator training. Keyence Corporation of America Ph: 888-539-3623 Web site: www.instantmeasurement.com

Additive Manufacturing The Big Area Additive Manufacturing (BAAM) machine that printed a full-size car at IMTS 2014 will be displayed. The large-scale additive machine has a 1.8 × 3.7 × 0.9-m work envelope and uses the chassis, drives and control of CI’s laser cutting system as its base for extruding hot thermoplastic to build parts, layer-by-layer. The machine was developed as part of a cooperative research and develop- ment agreement between CI and Oak Ridge National Laboratories (ORNL). Cincinnati Inc. Compact Coil Line

New SpaceMaster Series 4 compact coil line combines unwinding, straightening and feeding of coil stock into one piece of compact equipment capable of processing higher strength, higher yield materials within space- constrained areas. It fi ts within 6.7 m of fl oor space and is capable of handling materials from 5 to 10-mm thick, 0.3–1.8-m wide, and 4500–27,000-kg coil

weights. Materials capable of being processed include CRS, HRS, AHSS, stainless and aluminum. COE Press Equipment Ph: 586-979-4400 Web site: www.coepress.com

Tube and Pipe Bender Ercolina Top Bender 050 Plus model rotary draw tube and pipe bender eliminates diffi cult programming and allows operator to store and produce desired bend angle in seconds. New easy-to-read color-coded control displays machine position and current functions on one screen. Bend angle can be adjusted accurately by degree any time throughout the bending cycle.

Machine stops at desired bend angle automati- cally to end cycle. Operator can use control panel or foot pedal to activate bend and return functions. CML USA Inc. Ph: 563-391-7700 Web site: www.ercolina-usa.com.

Box I/O Modules New ER series EtherCAT Box I/O modules feature die-cast zinc housings that provide exceptional performance in severe environ- mental conditions, such as the heavy-duty and automotive indus- tries or in robotics. Together with the EP and EQ module series, the EtherCAT Box I/O system covers

a wide range of signals for all industrial applications, intended for installation outside of control cabinets, which can dramati-
