Epoxy Mineral Tombstones Amrok brand tombstones in epoxy-mineral material are avail- able in various standard shapes and sizes. Signifi cant user benefi ts of this material include vibration damping rated at 10× that of cast iron and 100× better than aluminum, measured by logarithmic decrement. These tombstones are lightweight, simi- lar to aluminum and offer very stable thermal expansion char- acteristics, with low coeffi cient of linear expansion. The epoxy- mineral material comprises quartz gravel, silica and crushed rock mixed with a high-quality epoxy resin binder. Available with either molded steel plugs for tapped holes or 12.7-mm inner diameter precision bushings with hardened, threaded inserts on a 51-mm grid. Advanced Machine & Engineering Co. Pneumatic Lever Clamp

New 8700 Series pneumatic lever clamp is a lightweight, space-saving alternative to traditional pneumatic toggle and swing clamps, giving fi xture builders a reliable option for tight spaces. The clamp features an arm that arcs up and out of the way on a single plane. Since the arm does not rotate to the side like a swing clamp, it remains completely within the clamp’s footprint while in the open position. This helps to eliminate interference with adjacent components on crowded

fi xtures. While it delivers up to 25% more clamping force than compa- rably sized swing clamps, it doesn’t lock like a toggle clamp. This means it can accommodate materials with differ- ing thicknesses. The clamp’s lever design provides a consistent clamping force on materials that have up to 3.8 mm of varia- tion, depending on clamp size. DE-STA-CO
