Seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time was magical, words fail to describe. As a city boy, I’ve never seen such beautiful shades of red.

COMPLIMENTARY NIGHT AT A FOUR SEASONS!

Thanks to our travel partner, Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, you can spend one extra night at this fabulous resort before the start of Red Rocks & Painted Canyons. Available before all 2016 and 2017 trips, your free night can be combined with other savings and promotions – ask at booking for details (subject to availability, deposit required at time of booking).

River rafting rocks

Some of the most dramatic stretches of the Colorado River are located in Glen Canyon with its soaring sandstone cliffs and crystal blue-green waters. Your family hops aboard a pontoon raft to explore the canyon, and as you glide along, your guide entertains you with stories of the river and wildlife.

Ready for take-off?

Your family takes a flight over Lake Powell for jaw-dropping views and a bird’s-eye look at massive Rainbow Bridge, one of the world’s largest stone arches; it’s so big that the US Capitol Building Dome would tuck underneath it nicely! Called Nonnoshoshi by the Navajo, this majestic national monument is sacred to neighboring Indian tribes – like a cathedral, sculpted by nature.

INSIDE-THE-PARK HOTELS AND LODGES KACHINA LODGE

Thrill to a majestic Grand Canyon sunset – or awaken early to catch an equally awesome sunrise – from this contemporary lodge ideally located just steps from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

THE LODGE AT BRYCE CANYON This rustic-style 1920s lodge, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, features both motel-style rooms and historic western cabins with private porches, nestled in a forest of ponderosa pines.

ZION LODGE

Designed by national park architect Gilbert Stanley Underwood in the 1920s and beautifully restored in 1990 with the look of a classic rustic inn, this lodge is within easy walking distance of excellent hiking.
