Laser and diodes MatchBox2 series
Integrated Optics has introduced a major upgrade to its MatchBox series of ultra-compact CW laser sources for spectroscopy, sorting and illumination. The MatchBox2 series features improved ruggedness, extended operational temperature range, new serial UART interface, laser control software and even smaller footprint. These OEM-dedicated laser sources meet demanding requirements of Raman spectroscopy, holography and modern microscopy. The MatchBox2 series are now not only smaller (30 x 50 x 18mm), but also have features typical of benchtop class lasers. One such feature is communication with multiple lasers using a single serial bus and unique laser IDs – this allows integrators and scientists building laser systems to have multiple laser sources and just a single control interface.
DLK UV platform
Lasos has released a new series of diode- pumped solid-state lasers operating in the ultraviolet portion of the spectrum at 320nm. LEDs and illumination LumiBright 3300B UV-LED Illuminators
Innovations in Optics has launched LumiBright 3300B UV-LED Illuminators for digital light processing (DLP) applications such as 3D printing, maskless lithography, prepress digital imaging, phototherapy, and refractive surgery. The UV-LED technology is more reliable and offers economical advantages over lasers and arc lamps in UV DLP systems. High optical power over 20W matches the power output of fibre-coupled laser diode bundles at lower cost.

Marktech Optoelectronics has introduced the latest in its series of high power, 950nm LED emitters with typical power output up to 25mW. Optimised for optical switches and
sensors, the MTE9460 series is available in six standard packages with varying viewing angles and power outputs. Available packages for 950nm LED
wavelengths include 365nm, 375nm, 385nm, 395nm and 405nm. Single or multi-wavelength configurations are available. The combination of different wavelengths optimises the spectral balance of the exposure for all types of UV processed materials.
The series features a UV-LED array coupled to a high efficiency, non-imaging collection optic with an aspect ratio matched to DLP chips. An integral imaging optic is telecentric over the entire DLP and is constrained in angle to match the micromirror tilt angle.
