out of Knowlesmere Goldwyn Abrakaboom, the first prize intermediate two year old at UK Dairy Day 2015.


Lizzie Miles led her own Littlebridge Goldendreams Rena to win the autumn yearling class. Sired by Heavenly Goldendreams she is out of Dalesend Drake Rena VG88 who was successfully shown and backed by two generations of EX dams. Having stood third at the Great Yorkshire Show she is due to calve in September to sexed Bank Roll.


JUNIOR RED AND WHITE Panda Holsteins had a worthwhile journey north from Devon when they claimed the Red and White junior championship with Panda Heart of Gold Red on her first show outing. This August 2015- born heifer is the only red and white daughter of Mr Atwood Brokaw in the world and is out of the successfully shown Panda Lexnder Fools Gold Red VG88. Standing reserve to her was Eastford Atomium Kiwi Red from the Yates and Lawrie families’ Eastford Holsteins. Sired by Gen- I-Beq Atomium Red she is out of Coton-End Secure Kiwi Red VG89. On her only other outing this heifer stood red and white champion at the Scottish Calf Show.


SHOWMANSHIP Clinching the championship title under the watchful eye of David Gray was mature class winner James Doherty. James stood second and honourable mention at the All Breeds All Britain Calf Show 2015 on his debut in the ring there. Taking reserve spot was senior showman Neil Sloan, Neil works with the Muir herd of Holsteins and Ayrshires.


Standing honourable mention was Bob Lawrence having stood second to James in the mature class. Bob has previously been champion at Great Yorkshire Show, Lancashire Calf Show and reached a high of second at the All Breeds All Britain Calf Show.


Junior champion was the Whittaker family’s Knowlesmere Windbrook Chancel.


Top of the line in the senior three year old class was Bill Nadin and Yasmin Bradbury’s Sterndale CL Ghost.


Winning the four year old class was Richaven Sanchez Squaw 2 for Richard Bown.
