eter Spurway has joined LG Electronics as national sales manager – heating
projects based at the company’s headqurters in Weybridge, Surrey. Mr Spurway has almost twenty
years experience working in the heating sector and joins LG after holding senior sales positions at Vaillant Group and Baxi Heating. He began his career as an HVAC engineer at Bracknell Forest Council and has also held technical, product and marketing management positions at Strebel. Currently a committee member for the CIBSE Home Counties North West region, Mr Spurway said: “These are exciting times at LG and in the Heat Pump market place and I’m really enjoying being a part of the LG team as the heat pump revolution gets underway here in the UK. Our valued nationwide distribution partners have been instrumental in the success and growth of the Therma V heat pump range. We recognise that training is going to be vital to up skill more installers as we press ahead with the electrification of heat. We will soon be making further announcements which will enable LG to supply a whole new level of project, design and specification support unmatched in the market.”
James Meadows. A
ermec UK, an award- winning manufacturer of air handling solutions has
appointed James Meadows as a regional sales manager. With over 13 years’ experience in the HVAC industry, James has a strong building services background and as well as technical sales for applied solutions.
He initially qualified in electrical
eectronics before adding HVAC building services to his skill set. Mr Meadows has worked for a number of the leading manufacturers as a contracts and applications engineer but also worked in technical sales, internally and externally. Latterly Mr Meadows has held a variety of sales management roles working
closely with consultants and contractors In his new role as regional sales manager for the Midlands, Mr Meadows will be working along the existing sales team and developing sales across the region. “Aermec is a dynamic brand and it is great to be joining a team where there is such an obvious commitment to service and continual improvement. laktGroup has announced that Yan Evans will be moving roles to manage all key
accounts as key account director - data centres.
Mr Evans’ dedication and leadership has ensured that FlaktGroup is now a major player in the data centre cooling industry. His ability to work with Hyperscale’s and large DC projects has been rewarded with this new role.
As work with hyperscale DC’s has become larger, the company has recognised that Mr Evans needed more support. He has been with the business for over eight years . With this in mind, the FläktGroup data centre team has taken the decision to appoint Matthew Evans as global sales director – data centres. He has plenty of years’ experience in the DC sector and was welcomed on the 4 April to the FlaktGroup family. Matthew Evans joins the business from UK AHU manufacturer Mansfield Pollard where he was technical director spearheading its transition into the data centre business. Prior to this he was head of data centre solutions for Airedale International. He has a strong technical
background, including time served as a design consultant, and a high-level knowledge of the data centre market and experience and expertise in developing data hall cooling solutions.
