ACR News Awards 2022

Live and in person! T

he ACR News Awards took place at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel on Thursday 17 March, twenty-five years after it first started celebrating the best products, businesses and people from across the air conditioning and refrigeration sectors.

This is the one of the biggest little industries in the world, populated by some incredibly passionate people doing exceptionally innovative things and these Awards are all about celebrating that. The ACR News Awards has firmly established itself as focal point in the industry calendar since its launch in 1997 and this year was no different as hundreds of acr professionals gathered, albeit virtually, to honour the cutting-edge products and inspirational professionals from across the air conditioning and refrigeration sector. This first live event since 2019 was

presented by actor and comedian Dominic Holland and the voice of the National Lottery, Alan Dedicoat.

The highlight of the evening was a touching speech by Roger Borer, this year's winner of the prestigious Alan Moor Award, sponsored by Bitzer, who paid tribute to industry mentors and Alan Moor in particular. The other winners of the evening were:

Q Environmental Initiative of the Year sponsored by Blended Beyond Refrigeration from the IOR.
