AIR CONDITIONING from the power supply.

2. Remove the condensate pump reservoir: Take the condensate pump reservoir or tank to an area where you can work on it. Servicing is simple with pumps like the Max Hi-Flow, which feature a clever quick release reservoir design which allows the unit to be serviced while still attached to either the wall or rod mounts. This helps AC contractors avoid water spills making servicing far easier, s afer and dryer.

3. Clean the reservoir: Using a cloth and warm, soapy water clean the reservoir removing dirt, debris and algae as well as ensuring the openings where the drain lines connect are free from debris. If removed, replace the float and magnet assembly in the correct orientation. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly to remove any residue left from any AC cleaners which may have been used. Finally dry the reservoir thoroughly.

4. Filters: Clean the filters. Condensate pump filters vary, for instance the Mini Aqua has a copper filter that can be removed, cleaned and replaced. Aspen’s Max Hi-Flow tank pump has an integrated comb filtration system which reduces blockages in the

pump meaning fewer call-backs.

5. Hose: Ensure the discharge hose is not kinked and the connection to the drain hose is secured using suitable cable ties as required.

6. Check connections and filters: Once the pump is clean ensure all the electrical connections are secure and all pipes are secured onto inlet and outlet drain connectors, using suitable cable ties as

required. Ensure any filters are properly replaced and the reservoir/tank securely refitted.

7.Reconnect: Once the condensate pump is reassembled and all pipework securely connected, reinstate the power supply. Finally, slowly add water to the AC system drain pan to check the condensate pump is operating correctly.
