The UK’s only commercial exhibion for air condioning, heang, venlaon, heat pumps and refrigeraon, including refrigerated transport, just got even more excing….


Taking place every other year The ACR Show launched in 2012 as the UK’s only dedicated air condioning and refrigeraon show. By popular demand, the heang and venlaon sectors were included for the 2016 event. Following the success of this new format and calls from the heang and venlaon sectors, The ACR Show became The HVAC & Refrigeraon Show to widen its appeal to visitors and businesses alike, coupled with a move to ExCeL in January 2018 at the request of the wider industry.

NEW APPROACH New iniaves have been put in place, designed to engage key brands and reach industry naonally and internaonally.

Working lunches The HVAC & Refrigeraon Show will feature a series of three working lunches over the duraon of the show in the new ‘Business Hub’. Sponsors will be invited to give a short prelunch talk and network informally with invited guests over lunch.

IOR Conference The Instute of Refrigeraon (IOR) will hold its annual conference at the show for the second me in 2018. The 2016 conference explored how energy and emission saving in component and system design


was being achieved. It focused on the impact of refrigerant choice (driven by new F Gas Regulaon), design standards (changing requirements of European Safety Standards, such as the proposed revisions to EN378), meeng and exceeding eciency targets (driven by the Ecodesign Direcve), and internaonal policy (proposed amendments to Montreal Protocol). It also looked at the opportunies oered by the role of new emerging markets (recycled/recovery/eciency inspecons, overseas developments and facilitang new technologies).


The 2018 programme will be announced shortly.


SkillFRIDGE Compeon Series Set to inspire a new generaon Datateam Business Media is both the organiser of The HVAC & Refrigeraon Show and the ocial operang partner for the naonal SkillFRIDGE compeon, part of the WorldSkills porolio of vocaonal skills compeons. The series launch will take place at the show.


Seminars Besides a fantasc lineup of exhibitors, The HVAC & Refrigeraon Show will feature CPD accredited programmes in two seminar theatres – the HVACR Theatre and the Training & Skills Theatre. Both will oer a three day
