RSL becomes distributor for Fujitsu in Ireland
F
ujitsu has added RSL to its growing network of distributors. RSL Ireland is recognised as one of the industry’s leading wholesalers, supplying refrigeration, air conditioning and allied equipment, both industrial and commercial and offering a professional design and backup service. Founded in Dublin in 1967, RSL has offices and warehouses in Galway, Cork and recently a second branch in North Dublin.
RSL managing director Gerry McDonagh said: “Fujitsu is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of air conditioning units for good reason. From the sheer size of its portfolio to the quality of its products and support, it is going from strength to strength in the air conditioning market. Here at RSL, we are proud to stock and supply Fujitsu units. “We at RSL feel that we’re the ideally sized company for what we do. We’re big enough to stay on top of technology with a staff of fully qualified sales engineers and designers. Yet we’re small enough to give our sales and technical teams the freedom to work closely with our clients – to determine their needs, discuss options, and deliver the right solutions to keep them. We are delighted to be appointed as Fujitsu’s distributor.” Ian Carroll, Fujitsu’s sales and marketing director commented: “We are delighted to be working with
Ian Carroll (left) and Gerry McDonagh.
RSL, who are ideally placed to service a large and growing market in which they are already well established.
“Gerry has an exceptional reputation. He has been working in the industry for well over forty years and has built up a very professional company that is well respected throughout the industry in the region. We look forward to working with them.”

“This joint venture increases our ability to deliver and support our modular DC solutions around the globe with future proof designs, solutions and services,” commented Simon Gardner, managing director, TSI. “Partnering with such a well-known brand of quality products, Stulz enables us to compete at all levels and support our global clients with a worldwide service organisation network which comprises approximately 6,000 service staff.” “TSI is attractive to the Stulz Group because it aligns well with our company which already has a long trading relationship and synergy,” said Stulz global sales director Christoph Stulz. “We believe the joint venture brings together the best of breed technology to the data centre market. “We have seen a huge increase in demand for modular data centres globally and working together we will look to supply flexible highly efficient solutions.”
