MS,

This new community in rural Gulfport, focuses on the belief

that memo-

ry-making experiences are an essential part of life, a belief that is shared among all of their residents and has contributed to the 100% occupancy rate that they enjoy. They’ve gone above and beyond to provide their residents and families with interactive experiences that everyone can enjoy, wheth- er your 2, 42, 92 or somewhere in between. From their stables and barn to fishing pond and golf putting greens to their well-main- tained farm crops and playgrounds for grandchildren, and more…there's some- thing for everyone to make lasting memories at this stellar community.

Moo-ve on Over – Let’s See What’s Happening at the Barn The Summerfield Senior Living Com- munity is making memories that will last a lifetime for residents and families. They are doing this by providing interactive experiences at the barn where two horses and 4 cows, all named by the residents, are boarded. Many of the residents grew up on farms and by providing this experience, the Summerfield team offers residents the chance to reconnect with their past while still creating an experience with families in the present. Residents and families care for and feed

the animals. Grandchildren don’t want to leave because they are so intrigued by seeing and interacting with the farm animals. Memory care residents are particularly

fond of the horses because it transports them back in time and reminds them of their childhood. Families come from miles around to engage with the residents and do things together to make their visits memorable.

caring for the horses. Many of the residents grew up on farms and caring for the animals transports them back in time to their childhood.
