Respite care offers invaluable way to support caregivers and demonstrate value of senior living

For facilities themselves, respite care fills otherwise- empty rooms for days or weeks at a time while building new relationships that can lead to long- term residents.


“The benefits of respite care are vast and varied depending on the needs and desires of the older adult and caregiver,” said Pam Filby, vice president of sales for Benchmark Senior Living.
