Adler and Allan boosts water services division with acquisitions and strategic hire
Water, environmental and energy services business Adler and Allan has announced the appointment ofMike WilliamsonMBE as Director of its newly formedWater Services Division.
Mike joins Adler and Allan fromSevern Trent Services (STS), the commercial arm of Severn Trent Plc where he was Managing Director for four years, providing water and wastewater services to private clients across the UK. Through his passion for customers and delivering a quality service he doubled their profits during his tenure.
Prior to STS, from2015 to 2018,Mike ran the water and wastewater networks for Severn TrentWater,managing the assets, plannedmaintenance across the networks and incident response.
Mike said on his appointment: “I am delighted to be joining Adler and Allan at what feels like a criticalmoment. They have a rich history and are rightly respected as a premier provider of environmental services in certain sectors of the UKmarket. But they have also been transforming through acquisition over the last two years.We now have an exciting opportunity to bring all of this together to become the leading provider of environmental services across the water sector”.

This announcement follows twomajor acquisitions in the water sector. In January Adler and Allan acquired Aqua Consultants providing a wide range of consultative assetmanagement, engineering, and commercial services to its clients, helping themto understand and optimise their assets with strategic support around capital projects, business plans and investment, delivering value fromasset creation through to operation.
Soon after in April, Adler and Allan acquired Detectronic, an environmental and engineering company with a proven track record of helping customers prevent flooding and reduce pollution. Detectronic design and manufacture a range of flow and level monitors for wastewatermonitoring including LIDoTT, amarket-leading range of sewer levelmonitoring devices

Technology company Ovarro has opened a new leakage service centre for European customers, based at the company’s manufacturing facility in Steenwijk, Netherlands.
