TRACTO UK seals the deal for 18ACS in Saudi

Arabia.Managing Director of TRACTO UK, RogerWahl, recently concluded the successful sale of a high- tech GRUNDODRILL 18ACS drilling rig to customer,MTBC andwas delighted to hand themachine over to Division Head, Husni Alyacoub.

company.Working in large-scale oil & gas pipeline, wellhead water and on-shore maintenance projects, the company operates froma huge industrial base that hasmodern facilities for fabrication, blasting, hydro-testing and a range of other
competencies to support themulti-million $ projects the company undertakes. The large site is also future proofed for expansion and diversification into new areas.
In January 2020,MTBC successfully launched its Trenchless Technology division, headed by Husni Alyacoub, which has successfully completedmajor drillings and crossings in adverse working conditions using a large drilling rig. Now, as the principal OMPP (OnshoreMaintain Potential Project) contractor for Saudi Aramco, the state-run petroleumand natural gas business,MTBC’s goal to expand overseas has become a reality and the company has added a further drilling unit to its fleet to undertake new projects.
The TRACTO GRUNDODRILL 18ACS, nicknamed the King of Rock for very good reason, is a sophisticated drilling rig capable of working productively in very difficult ground conditions, including hard rock. The unit was specified byMBTC and delivered in

May 2023. Husni Alyacoub was instrumental inmaking the decision to buy the King of Rock;

The GRUNDODRILL 18ACS not only offers advanced technology with features including automatic boremode, fully automatic rod exchange system, clamp and break-away facility, but a comfortable cab with user-friendly controls, ergonomic seat and air conditioning.
Resiline launch new ‘spray in place’ epoxy pipe lining system
Resiline a pleased to announce the launch of Resiline 330, a newHybrid Epoxy Composite coating for use as a ‘spray in place’ pipe lining in Sewer,Wastewater and Non-PotableWater Pipelines. Resiline 330 can also be hand sprayed inmanholes or other associated infrastructure.
The Resiline family of products have been formulated by industry leading experts and products are extensively tested to demonstrate fitness for purpose for the rehabilitation of aging and deteriorating pipelines.
Spray lining is a lowcarbon processwith savings of up to 80%compared to

replacement techniques. The spray lining process is suitable for pipeswith diameters >3” (75mm) and offers high productivity and cost-effective pipeline renovationwith same day return to service possible.
Resiline 330 has been optimised for ease of application through approved lining rigs using spin cast application process and can be applied in linings of up to 6mmin a single passwith potential formultiple coats if required. The product is fully tack free for return to service after 3.5 hours at 20c and demonstrates the following features:

Resiline 330 has a highwet creep rupture strength to ensure long termpressure containment and excellent long termwet flexural strength to avoid collapse under vacuumor external back pressure event. Lining pipeswith Resiline 330will provide extended asset life and reduced leakage as well as increased network resilience.
