THREE NEW HIGH-LEVEL ALARMS FOR WASTEWATER PUMPING SYSTEMS


Pump Technology Ltd have launched three new high-level alarms for wastewater pumping systems.


These offer audio and visual warning of high wastewater levels in a tank. An external beacon and/or connection to a BuildingManagement Systemis also possible.


The alarms are activated by a finger float (supplied with the alarm) or froma pressure switch (optional).


The alarmsystemis contained in a compact, IP65 rated enclosure and is designed to be connected to a 240V supply. In the event of power outage, the unit’s battery backup enables the alarmto operate for 72 hours.


Typically, these alarms will be used with Pump Technology’s DrainMinor, DrainMajor and DrainMajor Duo Systems.


Features such as amute button that effects the warning buzzer, but not the visual warning and test button, helpmake the alarmextremely user friendly.


The new high-level alarms are available in three versions, High Level Alarmfor single

pump configuration, High Level AlarmDual Zone for twin pump configuration and Flowsafe Alarm.


The Flowsafe Alarmwill also activate a Solenoid valve to cut off the incoming water supply to the appliance (a washing machine for example) that the wastewater pumping systemis pumping away from.
