Lining Resin now available from S1E

Source One Environmental (S1E), suppliers of products for trenchless repair, have announced that they are now distributing Polyester Lining Resin.

“We have worked extensively with our resin supplier to select a composition that works well on site and created a filled version that has been specially designed for us,” explained S1E Sales Manager, Tom Yoxall. “The

result is a resin with stronger mechanical properties than standard resins in the market and with improved chemical resistance.”

The resin is available in filled and unfilled versions, in 20 Kgs (18 litre) tubs for easy handling. It is held in stock at S1E’s Yorkshire Headquarters, and sent out with next-day delivery to mainland UK as standard. It is also being used within S1E’s new pre-wet lining service.

The resin is already being well-received by S1E customers. James Stern of PBF Drainage remarked “Since doing the trials with [S1E] and seeing the results in the field we have been massively impressed with the resins.”

2000th RAX300 supplied to Lanes Group plc

January 2018 saw another great moment in the 30 year history of iPEK International GmbH with the supply to Lanes Group plc of the 2000th manufactured RAX300 Automatic Cable Drum as part of one of their latest Inspection Vehicles.

The first RAX300 automatic cable drum was sold in 2011 as part of the brand new iPEK ROVION range which superseded the hugely successful ROVVER and Supervision CCTV equipment.

Lanes Group plc was formed 25 years ago, trading as Lanes for Drains. Lanes are a wastewater solutions provider at the heart of the UK drainage industry and were the biggest user of the ROVVER equipment in the UK purchasing many units over many years. Everything started with one depot, to now 23 regional operating centres and several utility hubs, in just over 25years. Lanes Group plc provides a comprehensive range of wastewater, pipe and drainage services, including: Pipe, sewer and drain CCTV surveys, Drain cleaning, Jetting and vacuumation, using the latest recycling units, Excavation, Civils and drainage repairs to pipes, drains and culverts, Sewer renovation and rehabilitation using the most innovative and effective techniques, Patch repairs, Lining, De- silting, Waste management, Pollution control and Interceptor waste, septic tank waste and other liquid waste/specialist waste disposal

compatible and interchangeable with each other. Depending on the combination of high-quality components selected, inspections for pipe diameters ranging from 100 to 2200mm can be performed with the added capability of non Ex or EX rated zone 1equipment for ATEX rated areas.

RAX300 from our ROVION cable drum range provides the Inspection vehicle with a fully automatic drum containing 300m’s of cable plus incorporating a remote control unit, making it easy for the operator to handle. Overall the modularity of ROVION Solution to fit every system to the needs of the operators was the deciding factor for Lanes Group Plc to purchase more Inspection Vehicles with RAX300s from iPEK.

Overall iPEK have a long and proud history dedicated to quality and flexibility to fit the needs of not only Lanes but also many other sewer and drain CCTV companies all over the UK and worldwide. 2179 Rovion Cable Drums have been manufactured and sold till today and prove that ROVION Solution is the backbone of many Inspections vans.
