Trelleborg’s pipe seals operation will launch two new trenchless technology sealing solutions for high pressure, potable water applications at this year’s No-Dig Show 2018 in Palm Springs, California.

Specifically developed for high pressure potable water pipe relining, the two new seals provide a watertight seal for most types of pipe including steel, cast iron, concrete and plastic. Both are easily installed using a high force hydraulic expansion tool and are available in multiple diameters. The L-Lock-PTM is a rubber liner end seal with stainless steel expansion bands, designed to keep the liner firmly in place. The I-Lock-PTM is a mechanical seal applied without a liner to repair sections of cracked or damaged pipe.
Trelleborg will also be demonstrating its industry leading DrainPlusLiner 2.0. The highly versatile, all-encompassing liner can be used to repair every kind of condition or challenge faced when rehabilitating house connections and building pipes. Universally applicable for vertical and horizontal pipe lines, the liner allows for up to two nominal widths of variation in the internal diameter of the host pipe. It has an ultra-flexible silicone coating enabling it to travel through 90-degree bends and is suitable for steam-curing due to its heat resistant coating. It can easily transition from 4 to 6 inches, while still offering the required three-millimeter wall thickness at the expanded area.

Held from the 25-29th March, visitors to the No-Dig Show can learn more about the lead-free, NSF approved I-Lock-P™ Mechanical Seal and L-Lock-P™ Liner End Seal. The new seals will be showcased alongside Trelleborg’s ultra-flexible, main-to-house trenchless pipe relining solution – the DrainPlusLiner 2.0.
