Fellowship Pastors Ordained

Randville Bible Church (Randville, Mich.) ordained Pastor Jim Janofski on June 26. Pastor Janofski did not plan to become a pastor. He earned a Master of Music Education degree at Northern Michigan University, Marquette, Michi- gan, then began teaching music. However, he unexpectedly lost his job in 1991. At the time, his church was without a pastor, and Janofski had been deeply involved in that church and others as a teacher, service leader, and deacon. On occasion, he had preached in several area churches. So it was natural for that church to call him as their pastor. Before coming to Randville, Janofski was the pastor of First Baptist of Republic, Michigan and Greenwood Bible Fellowship of Ishpeming, Michigan. Janofski credits his very godly parents

(and extended family) with his spiritual development. Under their influence, he trusted Christ as Savior at a young age. As a youth, he was influenced by Pastors Elmer Pearce and Clyde Surface, who both encouraged him to know and love the Lord and to spend daily time in fellowship with God in his Word. During the summer of 2014 Janofski

heard that Randville Bible Church was without a pastor. One day when he was in the area, he stopped in to speak with one of the elders, and began his pastoral ministry at Randville the next Sunday, August 24! Pastor Janofski enjoys sermon prepa-

ration and teaching as well as in caring for and shepherding the church family. Of course, as a musician, he appreciates the impact of a music ministry in the church and its effectiveness in outreach.

His wife, Lonny, is very involved in the

ministry through teaching Sunday School, mentoring and discipling younger women, offering hospitality, and music performance. In the past their family was a key part of his ministries, especially in the area of music. Now, their children are grown with families of their own, but continue to be an encour- agement as they are all very active in leader- ship positions in their respective churches. Janofski is a bi-vocational pastor and

works as an insurance consultant. Among his many hobbies are musical performance on 20+ instruments, rustic camping, and Civil War re-enacting as a civilian musician. Congratulations to Rev. Janofski on his

ordination! May God continue to give him an effective ministry.

Grace Bible Church of Abbotsford, B.C., ordained Ryan Peixoto on August 28. Ryan recalled his journey to becoming a pastor: “During my teen years, I had the privilege of leading Bible studies in my home and school, and had the joy of leading peers to Christ. It was around this time that I considered how long eternity was going to be, and how short this life was in comparison. I figured I should choose a ‘career’ that had a significant impact on eternity, and as a result, I felt led to become a pastor.” Ryan prepared for ministry at Heritage

College and Heritage Seminary, Cam- bridge, Ont. Before coming to Grace, he pastored Gregory Drive Alliance Church of Chatham, Ont. Among the many roles he is called to fill, his favorite is leadership. Many people have deeply influenced Ryan

including parents, grandparents, youth pas- tor, youth leaders, pastors, peers, lay leaders, professors, elders, co-workers, and members. Ryan and Heather-Mary came to Grace

in August 2013. Heather-Mary enjoys sup- porting new mothers — she finds a natural connection through her own four young children. She also helps with the nursery and tries to help young families feel wel- come. Ryan is quick to say “I’m thankful for the encouragement Heather has been to me during my ministry years.” When asked what helps him relax from

the pressures of ministry, Ryan replied, “I love watching NFL football. I was rooting for Peyton Manning to win last year, and I was not disappointed!” Fellowship Focus congratulates Pastor

Ryan on his ordination! May the Lord give him joy and success in his shepherding.

Evangelical Bible Church (EBC) in Dallas, Ore., will ordain Youth Pastor Nathan Ensz in September. Nathan and his wife Kelly came to EBC in June 2000, right aſter graduation from Multnomah University. Nathan has sensed God’s hand on

his life since he was in high school. As a junior, he served as game director on a junior high retreat and realized the joy of serving. In the years following, God confirmed His call in Nathan’s life to serve in full-time ministry. During his college years, Nathan served as a youth intern at EBC for two summers, then served as an intern at another church during his senior year at Multnomah. When asked to name some of the im- portant people in his life and development
