Tree 5-Day Clubs™ were held in one

week, hosted by the Cromers, Balls and Hechts. On Friday evening, all three clubs met on the church lawn to play in a Bouncy House, enjoy a missionary lesson through an impromptu skit, and hear a Gospel presentation from Pastor Scott. Yes, there was also time to feast on pizza, watermelon and cookies. Trudy Reimer, Correspondent

Jansen Bible Church Jansen, Nebraska Paul Carpenter, Pastor A great VBS on June 13–17 had the

side blessing of helping missionary Garrett Schlake, who serves with the Navigators. He is transitioning to a university ministry in Tours, France, this winter. Te VBS offering covered the costs of Garrett’s language study and will help with moving expenses. When a mechanic from our church fam-

ily heard that missionary Sam Dick’s car had a major problem, he and another mechanic friend went to Kansas City, Mo., for a long day of repairs. Teir successful work was a great blessing and help to the Dicks. On July 17 Don and Nancy R. present-

ed the ministry God has opened for them and their team in south Asia, reaching a slum where thousands of people live under a major city overpass. Tat evening, Benny and Esther Goertzen told us about the open doors to radio and public school counseling and seminars in Paraguay. Our women enjoyed a retreat on

Lustre EMB Church Lustre, Montana John Skillman, Pastor Pastor Brian Friesen from Tisdale Bible

Church, Tisdale, Sask., was camp speaker and music leader during our Beacon Bible Camp junior high week, June 19–24. Pastor Skillman was co-director for the week, plus helped plan and administrate the whole camp season. Te Lustre community celebrated its

100th year on July 3! About 700 people at- tended the opening event — a community worship service in the LCHS gym. Martin Fast explained why we celebrated, and a video documentary introduced churches that were established by the early settlers (including our Lustre EMB Church). Several community members ministered through music. Retired pastor and former FEBC president Frank Wiens, who grew up in the Lustre Community, spoke on the theme, “To God be the Glory.” Guests enjoyed a complimentary lunch. In the aſternoon, at the dedication of the new memorial monument, the early history of the homesteaders was reviewed, and some of the second generation families shared their memories through video interviews. EMB members Gary and Roxann Funk from our church sang “Amazing God.” On July 30 one young couple and a

youth gave their testimonies as part of our morning worship. Later in the aſternoon they were baptized at Ft. Peck Reservoir. Our annual church picnic followed at the picnic grounds nearby. Baptisms: Tree in July Sharon Skillman, Correspondent

Paradise Valley Church Natoma, Kansas Ben MacConnell, Pastor Our annual Bible Conference was held

in June, and then a week later we hosted a VBS. We haven’t held a VBS for a few years, so it was exciting to have children as well as workers. Funds were on a shoe- string, so we shared some of our supplies with a community church in Hays, Neb.

Baptisms at Lustre

Te VBS missionary offering went to a couple in Panama. A Skype® call with them on Friday helped our children and workers to get a glimpse into missions in a country where the people are less fortunate than us. We had a farewell for our oldest member who has moved to Washington where her daughter can help with her daily care. Sharon MacConnell, Correspondent

Vita Bible Church Vita, Manitoba Jonathan Coutts, Pastor In June our church gave funds to spon-

sor two or more children to attend Faith Academy, a Christian school in Winni- peg’s North End, this fall. Rain threatened our June picnic with Stuartburn Gospel Chapel — but that served only to make the fellowship warmer. In July we began considering God’s redemption through the book of Ruth.

What’s Your Story? We would love to hear how you have used an opportunity to share the Gospel with someone. A “Catch the Vision” story is featured on the back page each month. We’re looking primarily for “proclamation stories,” not of how someone came to Christ, but how God opened an opportu- nity for you to tell someone about Jesus. Send your story (about 400-500 words) to fellowshipfocus@febcministries.org.
