28 World Travel Market Latin America Show Guide 2015 WTM Latin America 2015

Braztoa, 2015 possibilities!

Braztoa (Brazilian Tour Operators Association) plays a very important role in their members’ business development. The Business Meeting, in partnership with WTM Latin America, is the opening event in the national calendar of activities and where operators present new launches and trends for the entire year. To give due weight to this moment, the Association works hard and brings to travel agents important projects, such as Braztoa Yearbook 2015, Turismo Week, air and road caravans, training schedule, and other activities. A major launch at the event, Braztoa

Yearbook 2015 features exclusive information on Tourism, the main actions of the organization, a full list of members, their results in 2014, as well as analysis on the economic environment and its influence on the tourism industry. In its 2015 edition, the publication points to an 8% increase in operators’ revenue. That positive figure, especially when compared to the previous year’s 4%, is largely owed to a number of technological improvements and adaptations that have actually made operators more competitive in the market. The event will also have Turismo Week, which will be in full swing. There are many highlights in this edition, starting with the participation of Cuba and Florida, which have had dedicated weeks with packages designed for their destinations. Now, Germany

and Catalonia are among the most popular packages that will take tourists to hundreds of cities in Brazil and the world. More great news - Turismo Week will have luxury trips with great advantages. In this edition, Braztoa’s space will feature a café lounge, sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, and a training room, where lectures and workshops will be held at various times. In addition, the organization enjoys a privileged location in the pavilion, with spaces fully distributed among its members, which will bring their best products and launches. To ensure audience and attendance for

the event, Braztoa’s successful Air and Bus Caravans intend to bring up to a thousand travel agents to visit the fair. Braztoa will also launch “Guia de Cases

de Sustentabilidade” (Guide to Sustainability Cases), which provides details of the initiatives winning Braztoa’s 3rd Sustainability Award, held in 2014, for the primary purpose of showing existing sustainable practices and engaging new followers. To complete, the Association, attentive to changes and needs of the market, coupled with its commitment to being a modern and active organization, once again innovates by launching an Incentive and Relationship Program unprecedented in the tourism industry. Targeted at travel agents, the goal is to train and encourage those professionals by recognizing them and seeking their development during the campaign. Defined actions, prepared companies, and a lot of focus on business, on work, and on service excellence. We are ready for 2015. n
