This conference aims to improve the knowledge and skills of staff working with individuals who have a life limiting illness. The forum will consider perspectives from the four dimensions of a holistic approach to palliative and end of life care.
Speakers from various organisations including Compton Hospice, Wye Valley NHS Trust, Leicester Partnership, Alliance Scotland, Macmillan Welfare Rights and University Hospitals Birmingham will discuss a range of topics.
Topics Include: Managing depression in patients with life limiting conditions Spiritual care for patients from culturally diverse backgrounds Management of Oedema in adult life limiting conditions Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
