dy Curran raised £677 after choosing to ask friends and family for donations to Compton ospice in place of gifts for his 80th Birthday


Compton Hospice would not be able to provide the quality patient care for which it is renowned without the support and generosity of our fantastic fundraisers. Our eternal thanks to everyone – individuals, communities and businesses – who help us to raise the £6 million we need every year to fund our services. Here are just a few of the people who have raised money for Compton Hospice over the last 12 months.


Gentle Line Dance Group in Lanesfield raised £130


rcello Manjiovi completed two half athons and numerous mud runs and acle courses (including the notorious ugh Guy’ challenge) raising £1600.


Nico Spencer raised £250 by shaving off his luscious locks in aid of Compton Hospice.


Andrew Leek auctioned off a blank canvas with the promise of painting the portrait of the winning bidder – no matter where they were in the world. Little did he know that he would end up half way around the world in Las Vegas raising £1,152.87 for Compton Hospice.


Holly Hayer, Rishika Mehan, Simran Kang and Tejas Netke, pupils from Wolverhampton Grammar School, raised £357 through the School’s upcyling scheme


Ryan James, James Coxhead, Dave Masella, Nick Campbell and Dan Bragoli – a.k.a The Compton Conquerors’ – completed the Welsh 3000 Challenge which involved climbing to the peak of all 15 Mountains in Wales measuring over 3000 ft in the space of 24 hours without the use of any transport. The Conquerors raised over £3000 as part of their mammoth challenge
