Hospice Lottery welcomes new manager

Compton Hospice is delighted to welcome Dean Vitellozzi as the new General Manager to its Lottery Company. Dean, who was born and raised in Wolverhampton, joins the hospice after enjoying a successful career in the hospitality industry holding roles in Sales and Marketing, Supplier Management and Client Services. Dean is hoping to use his skills and experience to help grow the company and assist in raising the vital funds needed for the hospice.

Dean comments “I am extremely excited about this role as it gives me an opportunity to make a substantial contribution to the hospice and so give something back to the community I grew up in. Over the years a number of friends and their relatives have been helped by the hospice, and so I am totally focused on succeeding in this role. I am really keen to engage with the local community, not only to encourage people to join as members but also to show my thanks to those who have and continue to play the Compton Hospice lottery. That’s why I now personally deliver the top prize cheques to our lucky lottery winners; it’s my way of showing our players how grateful I am for their support.”

Compton Hospice Lottery Headquarters

The Compton Hospice lottery team have recently moved offices and now operate from our Cedars site on Compton Road West, just 400 metres from our main hospice building. Leaving the offices located in School Street (Wolverhampton City Centre) was an emotional experience for a number of the team, many of whom have been with the company since its inception in 1996, however everyone is looking forward to what we hope will be a new and successful chapter for the company. You can write to the team at Compton Hospice Lottery, The Cedars, 39 Compton Road West, Wolverhampton, WV3 9DW.

Standing Orders

We wish to thank all of our current lottery members for their continued loyalty and support of the hospice. Each lottery ticket purchased helps us get closer to the £6 million needed every year which funds patient care at Compton Hospice.

As the company constantly evolves and we adapt to the changing environment we would like to ask any of our current members who pay their membership by cash on a monthly basis to consider the benefits of changing to payment by standing order or cheque every 6 or 12 months. Not only is this a more secure method of payment it will also ensure the hospice is able to reduce a number of its expenditure costs and ultimately help us contribute more to patient care. If you would like to talk to someone about your current membership

or would like to sign up to play the Compton Hospice Lottery please contact the Compton Hospice Lottery team on 01902 774590 or email deanvitellozzi@compton-hospice.org.uk
