The TMP would take into account the safety implications along all C and U class roads where the width of the existing road is insufficient to accommodate the safe passage of two vehicles. In particular this requirement would apply to:


The C323 and C329 for the Playford CCS For the Newbourne CCS


The junction between the U and C class roads in Kirton to access the CCS at Kirton The HDD access to the west side of the River Deben near Falkenham.

The Advance Warning signs identified under the Potential Road Works at Table 1 may include, but not be limited to:


Information Signs, (including contacts) Works Access, directional and location Construction traffic directional routing Road Works Ahead SLOW –Workforce/obstructions in road ahead New Layout Ahead Changed Priorities Pedestrian directions, crossings and directional Temporary speed limits/restrictions


Warning signs for any restrictions and/or obstructions that may be effected as a consequence of the works.

The type, form and location of all advanced warning signs shall be agreed with and approved by the Highway Authority prior to works traffic using the road so affected.


Local highway improvements identified under the Potential Road Works at Table 1 shall be accommodated within the existing highway boundary and may include, but not be limited to:
