EATL would only be seeking temporary closures and local diversions during cable installation works. To maintain construction schedule flexibility the closure notice would cover a six month period, however actual closures are only anticipated to take approximately two weeks per location.


BR1 would be retained and not diverted in final onshore cable route selection.


Potential impacts on future land use are addressed in section 22.7.


All construction work would be constrained to a defined working width and as such any interaction between machinery and equestrian users would be kept to a minimum. Construction personnel would be asked to be mindful of any equestrians using local bridleways to minimise the chance of scaring the horses.
