Key design parameters forming realistic worst case scenario
Both Scenarios
o Buried cable system: Cables de- energised and left in situ;
o Jointing pits left in situ; o Converter station removed and components reused and land returned to initial state;
o Landscaping and reinstatement of the site;
o Presence of plant and vehicles (see Chapter 27 Traffic and Transport); and
o Landscaping and reinstatement of the site.
21.3.3 Embedded Mitigation 25. Mitigation measures relevant to water resources and flood risk which have been embedded into the project design, or have already been committed to by East Anglia ONE Limited (EAOL), are listed in Table 21.3. East Anglia THREE Ltd (EATL) intend to replicate these mitigation measures. General mitigation measures are provided first, and apply to all parts of the onshore electrical transmission works. Specific mitigation measures, which apply to either the landfall, onshore cable route or converter station, are described separately thereafter.
