The judges were impressed not only by this company’s growth and its highly engaged staff, but also the development and investment in its own technology, with a strategy very much aligned to clients requirements.
The judges felt Portman was an ambitious company with one of the best staff training programmes in the business. Its latest technology offering had strengthened its position and it was a deserving winner.
The judges thought this was superb submission from a business that clearly understands corporate social responsibility and all it stands for, and is demonstrably driving policies to secure change.
The judges all agreed Samantha’s was an outstanding submission – someone who joined the company as a teenager, as an administrative assistant, and has risen through the ranks to be running a team of 44. In short, a very worthy winner.
The judges felt Allison brought a wealth of experience to a complex job of consolidating the travel policies of two large organisations, a task which she has accomplished with impressive results.
The judges felt this was an excellent submission by a dedicated team that successfully accomplished a major challenge, implementing a complete change within the organisation in less than a year. The team has established a comprehensive programme of safety and security measures.
