Profi le: Blend Colours, part of the US$100m turnover Shree Group, was the fi rst masterbatch plant established in the Andhra Pradesh province of India. The company commenced production in 1999 with a capacity of 300 tonnes per annum, rapidly expanding to its current three plants with a total capacity of 24,000 tonnes/year (8000 tonnes of which is dedicated to black masterbatch). It operates eight twin screw extruders for masterbatch: three for black products, two for colour, one for white and fi lled, one for additive masterbatches and compounds, and one for R&D work.


Product line: Blend Colours produces more than 5,000 coloured masterbatch shades along with a broad range of additive masterbatches, PET masterbatches (POY and PSF), black and white masterbatches, PP masterbatches for fi bre, BOPP/ CPP masterbatches, single pigment concentrates (SPC/MOC), and fragrance masterbatches.


Product strengths: Blend Colours operates a well-equipped R&D and testing laboratory allowing it to develop innovative products that meet specifi c customer requirements.
