AWARDS 2015 TOMORROW’S FM

SAFFOLD ACCESS LADDER SAFELINCS

Regular access is often required to areas that can normally only be reached using specialist equipment, such as platforms or scaffolding. This can be costly and time consuming, and usually requires multiple workers. The Saffold ladder provides a secure, permanent and safe means of access to areas such as air conditioning units, fl ood lights, roof-tops and cables, and also downwards to access manholes, pipes and lower levels.

The anodised aluminium construction and stainless steel fi ttings ensure that the Saffold ladder can withstand the test of time in the FM arena. Once installed it provides a permanent stable working stand that can be operated safely by a single worker, when used with a safety harness.

The Saffold ladder is ideal for installation in areas normally requiring specialist equipment. With the option of having the ladder secured at either the top or bottom, Saffold is the perfect solution where frequent access is necessary for service and maintenance.

With a 15 year guarantee and extra wide anti-slip rungs to make descent easier and safer for users, the Saffold Access Ladder is easy to fi t, making it an invaluable asset for a variety of FM requirements in any workplace; from schools to offi ces, hospitals and hotels.

SETTINGS THE SENATOR GROUP

Settings is a furniture concept developed to enable the next generation of workplaces and spaces to support the modern worker. The way we work is now a transitional activity and working hours have fundamentally changed over the last decade. The Senator Group believes that future workspaces will be split into fi ve core task areas:

Work – personal spaces; Share – informal meeting spaces; Show – formal spaces for presentations; Source – spaces for shared resources; Refresh – creative spaces that inspire.

Using a simple block planning approach, Settings provides a series of environments that are focused on these task areas and the activity being carried out. This gives individuals the freedom to migrate around the offi ce, utilising the furniture setting that is most relevant to the task being undertaken, as well as embracing new technologies.

Settings creates fl exible spaces that support more dynamic working and drive performance amongst teams. It helps an organisation to enhance collaboration, engage and retain staff, develop a brand and corporate culture, improve health and welfare, optimise the use of space and encourage staff into the offi ce by creating a genuine destination.
