DRY EXTRACTION CARPET
CLEANING SYSTEM HOST
The Host carpet cleaning method is an all-in-one system that gets carpet clean and back in use straight away. The system uses specially-designed equipment together with tailored Host sponges.
A large percentage of soil (80-90%) in a carpet is dry and is removed with a powerful vacuum fitted within the Freestyle or Liberator machine. Additionally, the counter-rotating brushes in the machines ensure that the carpet pile is lifted and dry soil extracted from the base of the carpet.
Host spongers are a non-abrasive organic cleaner containing a balanced mix of water, detergents, wetting agents and a safe- to-use solvent. It acts just like a sponge, releasing the cleaning agents where the soil is. The deep down brushing action allows the cleaner to break up, dissolve, trap and then remove spots, spills and greasy oily dirt.
Finally, the powerful vacuum removes the Host sponges with their trapped soil. Host deep cleans so that spots are removed and don’t wick back. Minimal amounts of moisture are used, meaning no over wetting and no lengthy drying time – carpets are back in use straightaway, clean, dry and looking their best.
EASY PICKS KATRIN
2014 saw Metsä Tissue launch Katrin Easy Picks, the next generation of self-contained hand towels. Easy Picks are a compact, lightweight and easy-to-carry hand towel solution for use by any mobile workforce. The name is a reference to the enhanced sleeve opening, with each sleeve containing towels that are hypo-allergenically tested.
The plastic sleeves protect the products from moisture, grease and dirt wherever they are used. The built-in dispenser is easy to open and delivers hand towels, one at a time, anywhere, ensuring that Katrin Hand Towels are always at hand.
Introduced nine months after the first generation of the Katrin concept was introduced to the UK market, the products deliver an even better user experience. Taking into account customer enthusiasm for the towels, Metsä Tissue refined the product to deliver enhanced pack opening, a wider towel and a new attractive pack design.
Easy Picks are ideal anywhere where hand towels need to be at hand, but people are not necessarily near a dispenser. What is more, the Easy Picks are delivered in the Katrin Handy Pack technology so can be easily carried from location to location.
