INSPECTION IQ VPS
VPS, the vacant property management specialist, used 2014 to launch Inspection IQ, an app that allows totally traceable inspections for landlords, site owners and facilities managers.
The app is loaded onto handheld devices that provide near field communication to track where the inspector has been, supplemented by Geotags placed strategically on site, such as by meter boxes or items of particular value. The smart devices will time stamp each part of the inspection and any photos taken by the inspector, which can then be uploaded.
As a result, FMs, landlords or site operators can find out immediately if there have been any changes to the state of risk to a location. Guarding a vacant property or site is not always affordable or necessary. The combination of people and technology that VPS' Inspection Services offer, means a flexible alternative to guards, saving time and money.
Core building services cover the vacant, unoccupied and void property lifecycle from an initial risk assessment, to security, including guarding, monitoring, clearing, cleaning, maintenance and preparation.

unauthorised access and a variety of hazards such as arson, theft, squatting and unauthorised occupation.
JET TOWEL MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC
Mitsubishi Electric’s first Jet Towel hand dryer was designed in 1992 and launched in 1993. The version now available in Europe is in the eighth generation of its development. The Jet Towel has high environmental credentials, avoiding the use of paper towels and lowering power consumption to a fraction of alternative dryers.
The Jet Towel hand dryer works much faster than conventional warm air dryers, removing water from the hands from 9 seconds. The new hyper-nozzle, installed with advanced jet-stream control technology, resolves the problem of mutual interference noise between air currents. Noise is reduced considerably to only 58dB. The hyper-nozzles also blows dual streams of air at 179mph onto users’ hands for the complete drying solution.
It also sets the industry standard for bacterial control, with moisture from hands directed straight into a drain and anti- microbial surfaces.
