THE CLEANING SHOW PREVIEW How To Get There

Planes, Trains And Automobiles

Conveniently located for the City of London, Canary Wharf and Tech City, just four miles east of Tower Bridge, it is easily accessible by three Docklands Light Railway (DLR) stations, has 3,700 parking spaces and is only five minutes away from London City Airport.

However for those, like us, who are not from London, travelling around the city can be a little confusing. Here, we hope to give you a little bit of advice on how to get there, whether you’re travelling by plane, train or automobile!

By Rail There is a direct national railway service from Richmond, via Silverlink trains.

By Eurostar There is easy access to Waterloo International Station, the terminus for Channel Tunnel high-speed rail services, via the Jubilee Line.

By Car When driving to the Excel London, follow signs for Royal Docks, City Airport and Excel. There is easy access from the M25, M11, A406 and A13.

For those using Sat Nav while travelling, the Excel recommends using the postcode E16 1XL.

Excel London is not located in the Congestion Charge zone.

By Taxi A taxi drop-off point and pick-up point for black cabs is located at the Excel’s West Entrance.

By Plane The Excel London is easily accessible from all London airports via National Rail and London Underground.

The journey between Waterloo International and Canning Town takes around 19 minutes. At Canning Town, change to the DLR (platform 3) for the quick journey to Custom House for Excel.

By Tube & DLR If travelling to the Excel by Tube, it is located in zone 3 and London Underground tickets are valid on the DLR.

When travelling from Bank on the DLR, change at Westferry for a Beckton bound train, alighting at Custom House for Excel. When travelling from Lewisham, take a Stratford train and change at Poplar for a Beckton bound train. Alternatively, take the first Bank train and change at Westferry. Trains from Tower Gateway go direct to Custom House for Excel.

If travelling to Canning Town on the Jubilee Line, proceed up the stairs to platform 3 and change for a Beckton bound DLR train, for the quick, 2-stop journey to Custom House for Excel.

Custom House is the station for the main west entrance to the venue, and there is a covered walkway to the door.
