Chicopee Cleaning Cloth Offers Unrivalled

Hygiene Chicopee, manufacturer of professional cleaning materials and a subsidiary of PGI, has developed the only microfibre cloth on the market that offers Food Contact Clearance as well as antibacterial properties, DuraDry.

DuraDry, designed specifically for the food services sector, is safe to use in all food preparation areas and will not transfer contaminants, even when it comes in direct contact with food. In addition DuraDry’s antibacterial properties significantly restrict bacterial growth.

Food residues can be easily picked up thanks to DuraDry’s unique splittable fibre construction, which

Cutting The

Cord For Good Forget pesky cords and bulky cleaners. The latest Dyson Digital Slim DC59 vacuum is lightweight, cordless, and sucks up as much dust as even a corded vacuum cleaner. With 20 minutes of powerful suction, DC59 is light and easy to manoeuvre between high, low and hard to reach spaces. No more fiddling about with plugs or tripping over cords. Simply remove from the docking station and go.

James Dyson said: “The capability of our digital motors to power our cordless technology is accelerating.

The new V6 Dyson digital motor is faster and stronger than its predecessor with a higher power density; giving DC59 the performance of a mains powered machine without being tethered to the wall.”

The new V6 motor was engineered specifically for this machine. One and a half times more powerful than the previous motor, it draws more power from the battery source, so nothing is wasted. 15 cyclones work in parallel across two tiers to capture fine dust. Dyson engineers ensured an equal flow of air throughout the cyclone pack, by engineering the airways, to guarantee constant centrifugal forces and high dust separation.

provides a larger cleaning surface area. The 100% microfibre cloth also absorbs more moisture, faster than any other wipe – even when wet.

DuraDry offers a dry-at-once, streak- free clean so is perfectly suited for use on stainless steel, glass or mirrors – just rinse, wipe and hang to dry. What’s more, the cloth can be washed up to 365 times at 90˚ and

still retain its cleaning capabilities and hygienic performance, making it excellent value for money.

Martijn Gerards, Market Sales Manager at Chicopee, said: “DuraDry outperforms the competition in cleaning performance, hygiene and cost. No other cloth can claim excellence in all these areas. This is the most effective and complete cloth we have ever created, offering any kitchen or food processing manufacturer a fast, streak-free and hygienic clean at an affordable price.”

DuraDry fulfils HACCP standards for safe cleaning and comes in a colour- coded range for cleaning designated areas. It has been awarded Food Contact Clearance by a leading German test institute.

Chicopee will be exhibiting at the Cleaning Show, offering product demos of their full range. You can find them on Stand C20.

A newly configured motorhead tackles dust and dirt on any surface, while carbon fibre antistatic bristles reduce the build-up of static charge, aiding capture of fine dust on hard floors. Nylon bristles work to trap ground-in dirt from carpets.

The DC59 is light, versatile and easy to store, with a small, light, power dense motor in the hand, instead of at the floor, making it easy to clean up top, down low and in between spaces. The lightweight aluminium wand can be detached for stairs, upholstery, cars and other compact spaces. And storage is hassle free with a wall mounted docking station.
